ABOUT THE JUST FOOD TRANSITION NETWORK

The Just Food Transition Network started with the shared vision built through The Just Transition from Industrial Animal Production to Equitable, Humane and Sustainable Food Systems white paper and roadmap, which was co-produced with more than 50 contributors from organisations around the world representing diverse perspectives, including farmers, farm workers, pastoralists, women, youth, and public health, animal welfare, and environmental advocates. The network has since grown beyond the white paper into a global community, but our goal is ambitious and we need working together to phase out industrial animal agriculture. While the network recognises a shared vision and pathways for transformation away from the industrial animal agriculture system, we also acknowledge the diversity of perspectives and needs among impacted groups and the crucial importance of their leadership in this growing movement.
